Question: Do these behaviors correlate with heroin use?
I am almost sure my boyfriend is smoking heroin. He told me that his step sister smokes black tar heroin, and certain recent events have nearly confirmed this (I say nearly because he is still denying it).
Well I guess the last couple months, he hasnt been his old self. We used to go out to eat, get drunk together, go for random drives etc. But, now it seems like whenever we leave the house, he is anxious to get back. For instance, we went to the zoo recently, and he whined almost the entire time. That's the only time we've gotten out of the house in ages to go and do something, and he couldn't just enjoy it. Now we only sit on our asses and watch tv..
The behavior that stands out the most is, for instance, he will come over to my house and I will have dinner made for him. We'll sit down to watch tv, and he will nod off in the middle of taking a bite. I'll hit his arm to wake him up and he'll wake up for 2 seconds before he nods off again. He does this in many inappropriate situations, such as when we are having a conversation, and when we are playing a video game.
Another thing is that he is always broke. He never ever ever has any money anymore. But it doesn't make sense, because he gas a job and lives with his dad rent-free. He pays his car payment and his insurance bill, but that is it. This would make up one paycheck per month max, and he gets two paychecks per month. It doesn't add up.
There are other reasons I have to believe he's smoking heroin, but I'd like to know what you guys think about these weird behaviors.

the nodding off is a clear indication that " somehing" is wrong. having seen many heroin addicts on the nod myself I'd suggest that your bf is indeed smoking heroin.
