Question: I drank 128 oz of water in a 24 hour period and produced 53.9 oz of urine in a 24 hour period is this normal ?
My doctor asked me to collect my urine for 24 hours and chart how much water I drank versus how much urine I excreted I have nephrogenic diabetes insipidus and am currently considered "severely dehydrated" After consuming 32 oz of water I began having frequent urination with very little excretion each time, the urination continued very frequently throughout the night and I experienced moderate kidney pain.

Defiantly not normal to measure your urine....
