Lump on side of finger?!
Question: Lump on side of finger?
I have a small lump on the left side of the top joint of my middle finger on my right hand. It isn't painful, but feels quite gritty when I rub it. I'm party wondering if it's from my pen resting there or something when I write. So it isn't that it's causing me pain, but it looks really weird and someone asked me a few days ago if I broke my finger or something, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

I hold my pens funny, so it has caused me have a callous on the side of my finger on the joint towards the top. If I'm not writing a lot, it will go down in size, but is still there. If im writing a lot, it builds back up and you can see an obvious bump. Ive had it since grade school. Ive just gotten used it and it doesn't bother me at all anymore, but its definitely there.
