I have COPD- Asthma (advair), Bronchitis... could I also have contracted TB? Hel!

Question: I have COPD- Asthma (advair), Bronchitis... could I also have contracted TB? Help please!?
Okay so I was recently diagnosed with asthma this past June and but before then I always contracted bronchitis... how inconvenient right? lol I currently take the 250/50 dosage advair and it helps. However, this past January I had contracted viral bronchitis again and got better and then contracted something else along the way after that.... I have been experiencing a cold, phlegm (usually green not red.... i hope it doesnt get to that), an awful chronic cough/wheeze i can ONLY feel on my left lung for the past two weeks ish... i think it is getting better.... when i take advair it helps alot, but i still cough.. there is no fever. it is worse when I sleep/lay down though.... could i possibly have TB? how do you know its not TB?

Thanks in advance!

TB is pretty rare in the developed world. Unless you have regular/close contact with people from high risk groups the chances of you getting it are usually very low. High risk would be like recent immigrants from countries where it's common, people with AIDS, homeless people, drug addicts, or if you work in an institutional type setting like a prison, hospital or something like a nursing home?

To find out if you have it you'd need to get a test from your doctor. Chances are it's something related to one of the conditions you already have though, since they are all lung related? Or maybe something that's usually minor [flu virus, cold, bronchitis] but is worse because your lungs are more vulnerable, and possibly still irritated from that last bronchitis you had.
Anyway, I would definitely go to the doctor, and ask about the TB so that you don't have to stress about it but my guess is it's something else.
