Have you found any relief from chronic fatigue syndrome?!

Question: Have you found any relief from chronic fatigue syndrome?
Eating right has helped me, but I wish I could be my old self. Has anyone tried anything that helped them?
thank you

Answers:

I wish I could give you an answer, but sadly somethings work for one person but not for another.

Eating a good healthy diet is good start, as well as keeping up your fluids, especially in summer, limit alcohol & coffee as these can exacerbate CFS symptoms. And if possible avoid getting the flu and colds, much easier said than done, but ask your friends to stay away if they have any lurgy. Most of my friends know not to come any where near me, as it can drop me like a ton of bricks.

Pacing yourself is also helpful, which can be difficult if you have children or working full time. Do what you have to on the bad days, and let anything else that is not important go for the day. When you can put your feet up, I find this really helpful on days I have to work and not feeling to good, so when I can I put my feet up, I do.

I have CFS & Fibromyalgia and recently go a virus which has caused a major CFS & Fibro flareup. So I am struggling to do anything, let alone eat, but I try to force at lest one decent meal down a day.

Running!!! itss honestly really amazing :) jogging as well, but running is better.
it changes stress levels and gives you SO much more energy and yet helps me fall asleep.

honestly, it puts me in such a good, bounch mood when I start the day out with 1 or 2 miles on the treadmill (or outside) but even less helps.
not to mention the metabolism and weight/help benifits

google "benifits of running" if your curious ;)
