Answers:

As a rule, Medicare does not pay for nursing homes - Medicaid does. Medicare steps in when there is serious medical care issues involved - and that is not your usual nursing home.

Specialized nursing homes, called SNFs (skilled nursing facilities) are for medically inform who are in 'nursing home' of this sort because the staff at regular nursing homes could not care for them.

It is true that it seems Medicare is going to suffer some cuts and Medicaid as well.

It should be noted that in the state of New York, nursing homes are not regulated and there is a lot of fraud and lack of care in these facilities - I am not saying something new. We need them to be regulated and not be dumping grounds for seniors who cant take care of themselves.

And it’s only being consistent, as we are already removing the inconvenient younger ones who cannot speak for themselves. This merely expands that to others who also cannot speak for themselves.
We have become a culture of death. "Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it" (Isaiah 28:15, 18).
Billy Graham put it another way: "If God doesn’t judge America, He owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology."
