Question: What can cause a burning pain in middle of stomach?

I have like a strong burning pain in middle of stomach and leads up to my throat. Its worst a night I can't sleep with it. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
I've seen online but can't seen to find anything the way I'm decribing it to be
