Can your brain functionality and lung power recover after long term heavy use of!

Question: Can your brain functionality and lung power recover after long term heavy use of marijuana?
im almost 18 now, grade 12, and ive been smoking almost everyday, 3-5 times a day since i was in grade 9. I recently quit 3 weeks ago because ive realized what its done to me. I can feel it. Mainly in the clarity of my mind and thoughts and my overall motivation. I just need to know that if after that amount of use would I be able to return my brain to its original function, because right now i feel foggy, and i can tell the diffrence. And trust me, ive been smoking that kush. strongest stuff out there, along with doin shrooms and mdma a couple times. I just want to know if I can get the full potential of my brain back if i sustain from taking drugs in general. I really regret it.

Brain cell and lungs cells have a hard time regenerating. If you have sustained damage from your drug use then the most you can hope for is that you can preserve what you have left. I hope you have a long productive life, my friend.

Probably. The human body is very adaptable and resilient. My mother used to smoke for years, and after she quit, she hated smelling cigarette smoke and she would cough when people would smoke around her. And I've heard that after a few days, you can already feel benefits. Like decreased blood pressure or something like that. Good luck. I hope you're successful at turning your life around, friend. :]

your brain is not permanently damaged, what your feeling is the smoke over the years not the THC. Brain cells die quickly and comeback quickly. Your lungs: exercise.

next time go for the brownies, smoke f***s with you
