Question: My tonsils have been swollen at least 6 times since last june....?
sometimes they're both swollen but there are also times when only one is swollen. Would this be a reason to get them removed or is this normal? I've also had strep throat 3 times in the last 8 years. I'm 18 right now and a freshman in college. What should I do?

Well i got mine taken out in March 2010.If its swollen that bad.then you need to get them removed since bacteria is actually trapped there making you more sick.

Don't get them removed - you'll just get strep throat more. Your condition sounds like tonsillitis - I still get it at 34 but most people grow out of it by their late teens or early twenties. Again, don't remove. Vitamin C.
