Can your blood pressure drop after going to the chiropractor?!

Question: Can your blood pressure drop after going to the chiropractor?
I know that in the long run it can help lower your bp, but my diastolic was at 63 on the first take and 58 on the second about 2 hours after my treatment today (my 2nd treatment overall). I take bp meds and have for about 5 years and it's normally about 135/70.

While it is true that your blood pressure and heart rate varies slightly from minute to minute, studies have shown that chiropractic adjustments can have a beneficial effect on lowering blood pressure over extended periods of time. When combined with a proper diet and cardiovascular exercise, this effect can be further perpetuated. The way it works is through the process of 'afferentation', or stimulation to the brain. The most powerful afferent signals to the brain come from nerve r acceptors in your muscles, tendons and joints. When these receptors fire at an increased rate, the brain will subsequently fire at a more optimal rate. This has been demonstrated in numerous studies as well. When the brain itself is functioning at an optimal level, the blood pressure will be lower and many other physiological parameters will improve as well.

Your BP fluctuates from minute to minute. Getting a silly chiropractic "adjustment" has absolutely no bearing on it what so ever.
