What do you think about medical marijuana?!

I 100% support it and agree with you. People are taking terrible pills and having to take multiple doses of these medications everyday. The pills become highly addictive and don't even work for everyone. When they don't work for certain people then they try other medications until one works. Marijuana can be used to treat many illnesses and is a much better treatment then a lot of the other drugs that are used, It's really terrible that people are denied medicine that is proven to help them because of some ridiculous laws that were started over greed and ignorance.

Also, it should be legalized in general or just decriminalized. Look at alcohol and all the trouble it has caused humans and society, but you can still buy it in every store. The prohibition of marijuana has not stopped people from using marijuana and hasn't stopped them from being able to get it. There is still a ton of marijuana around and still lots of people smoking it. They're wasting time arresting these non-violent offenders for a little bag of marijuana it is outrageous. Mostly is targeted is young minorities who are being arrested for simple possession, but it is happening to everyone.

I won't even talk about the ridiculous "War On Drugs" which is a total waste of government dollars. They're going around spending a fortune to find some people growing weed inside of a house.

It is too late but it really is an outrage and something that needs to be changed.

Edit - Oh, and all that leaving it illegal is doing is allowing gangs to control the sale of it and profit tremendously from all the people who smoke it. And what's so bad about the garbage man that wants to smoke a joint after his stressful day? What's he going to go out an kill somebody after that? Get real.

I support for many reasons but even if I had different opinions about everything else, one reason would still drive me to support it. And that is based the simple fact that there's no stopping marijuana use. Come on let's be real here. It's NEVER gonna happen. So as long as people are doing it anyway it may as well be regulated. Especially in this economy. Ending prohibition of alcohol was one of the factors that brought us back from the Great Depression after all. And furthermore repealing prohibition also led to much more moderation when drinking, whereas during its prohibition there was much more excessive drinking. Stop calling it the forbidden fruit and people will use more responsibly. Grow it on local soil, tax it, and start a huge new domestic market to fuel our economy. It just makes sense.

CA just tried to legalize. Prop 19. Didn't quite make it though. It was close! Almost 50% 50% but a little under.

Yes marijuana should be legalized. The only problem is that our country has spent so much money going against marijuana and the use of it that I doubt they'd like to admit they're wrong and make it legal.

But in the sense for medical purposes. Medicines and drugs like a cough drop or pepto bismal aren't necessarily 100% good for you're body. Sometimes the necessary answer for healing someone is giving them the right nutrition. The meat industry and farming industry have completely corrupted the way we eat our food and because of this we as a people are getting sicker.

Yes to medicinal/legalizing marijuana. But our country needs a new look on reality.

Marijuana is scary and terrible and makes you die that is why the government rates it as worse than cocaine.................................… part is sarcasm and second part is actual fact and yes I support medical and all out legalized marijuana as well. why not it HELPS with pain, anxiety, anger and so much more....cant say that about booze.

I'm all for it. Why should people be denied something that can help them with a chronic illness? I don't know if it will ever be legalized, but it should at least be decriminalized. The "war on drugs" is one we will never win and the money spent on trying to fight it is absurd.

nothing wrong with it either way it should be legal anyways it has been 10 years since i have done the stuff but i have my personal reasons why i say go for it make it legal for all it was put here for a reason it is natural so why not make it legal

I don't care if it's legalized or not, But one thing that angers me is when freddy the pothead has pain in his wrist so he wants to toke up legally, But the person with a terminal illness and bad cancer are the ones who really need it.

I think that it's ok to smoke MEDICAL marijuana if it's prescribed to u but I don't agree with it not being prescribed I would never do it though
