I feel sick but I don't know if the nurse will send me home?!

Question: I feel sick but I don't know if the nurse will send me home?
What should I do? I don't have a fever but i did yesterday and stayed out of school. I have a cold and flu like symptoms. I feel really stuffed and I can barely breathe. My stomach hurts but no throwing up. I don't think the nurse will send me home because I don't have a fever but I feel like poop and can't concentrate. I can barely hear and my throat hurts and I keep coughing. What should I tell her?

If you are a girl- time of the month. This is a perfect excuse for getting out of class or even better school. Hunch over and speak in a soft voice. Rub your eyes a bit to make them look red and puffy-not too hard but you will either look sleep deprived or like you have been crying.

Crying usually works too but be prepared for a slight panic to arise. Say you have been sick in the toilet. This is a good excuse. Say you went because you felt ill and the minute you went in the cubicle you were sick. For this keep clearing your throat and make yourself look a bit scruffy (e.g mess hair a bit, undo shoelace etc...)

Take a friend with you for back up. Chose a close friend who can back up that you are feeling ill. Tell them what your 'symptoms' are and get them to say things like," Oh yeah he/she was really ill in class."
or
"I cant believe she is in today!"

If all else fails phone or text your parent(s) or guardian. Tell them how you feel and that you really want to come home. Ask if they could phone the school. They will ,unfortunately, listen to adults more.

Hope I helped xx
