Instrinsically, yes, because people should have complete control over their own bodies.

However, when this idea is taken into the context of society, it would present problems, as people would be 'robbed' of their kidneys, just like wallets or handbags today.

I would say no because under the heat of the moment people can make bad decisions but then again people are gona do what people are gona do. Even if they learn the hard way. Still its nice to have the option to help some one out. No better statement of love.

But if its for money wow bad choice. A kidney is worth a lot more than money in my opinion. Kidneys cant be made yet commercially.

Then there are the incidents of kidney theft. Which in my opinion deserves a harsh sentence. They should only be allowed to be given and Illegal to be sold in my opinion. The sale of kidneys creates a black market.

well yea i guess it's pretty good thing. One can do just fine with just one kindey and if someone wants to cease seeing his kids suffer from poverty he can sell his kidney to see a smile in their faces once again.
(sorry i took an extreme case for example)

Steal no, sell also no. Why? Is anything unethical anymore? Maybe if it is okay to sell body parts people without morals will have baby farms for body parts...sick right? Well there are some sick people out there.
