techniques to relieve stress?!

Question: Techniques to relieve stress?
I haven't been feeling well, a little down and anxious about school and my future. I don't know if this is stress I'm feeling, are there techniques that can help. Any over the counter drugs that I can take?

Don't use drug if you know you have stress.
Don't bother about the future,
And be prepared to accept the bad thing you'd done at school and be brave to say "next time better"

Relieving stress

Honestly if you can belive me, exercise.
Running actually helps so SO so SOOOO much.

I can't even stress how much it changes everything. It relaxes you, relives stress, makes you forget your troubles. Google "benifits of running" or "running and stress"
because they can explain it better.

please don't take a drug.
running actually changes the hormones in your brain, just as surely as a medicine drug.
It aslo give you "feel good" chemicals and inrpoves your health/weight as well.

I used to HAAATE running but then I had to run and built up to a mile and a half, which used to be impossible.

But once you love to run, and you do run, it really changes stress levels/ down feelings.

also yoga, tea, reading, baths and taking walks all help

BUT TRY RUNNING!!! really =)

The best natural stress-reliever I've found is "Extreme Relaxation" by Revive Audio -- my wife also listens to it and says that the stress and "negative noise" in her head disappears in a few minutes ... and it seems to have an accumulative effect where the constant worries she once had have almost completely disappeared now after listening to it (with headphones on to block out distractions) -- daily at first, then just whenever she felt stressed/worried.... I think it's been important to use Extreme Relaxation so she can feel calm enough to simply trust that everything is just fine and visualize happy images of the future.

I agree with Peiahzja. Exercise is a good way to relieve stress. You could also try meditation. Meditation will relieve stress and reduce the amount of stress you feel throughout the day. It will give you more energy and your immune system will work better. Tai chi and qigong are forms of moving meditation that are good for getting you in shape and reducing your stress. I would stay away from any drugs and try to just use naturally ways to relieve stress. Here is an article you may be interested in: http://stressmanagementtipsguide.blogspo…
