I accidently swallowed a small piece of plastic?!

No you will be perfectly fine, it will just come out the other end.

Hee ! Hee!... sorry to laugh at your unfortunate predicament, but there is nothing to worry about, it will find its` own way out.
My dogs are always swallowing plastic, they absolutely love to eat yogurt, and after they have eaten the yogurt,they start to chew the plastic pot it was in!

matters on what type of plastic, but usually a small piece won't do any harm, just eat bananas and other food with lots of fibre in it and it will come out

Without wanting to be too crude I've heard of bigger things come out with no trouble and no internal problems. I'd relax and ignore it.
