Having stomach pains after visiting ER..?!

Question: Having stomach pains after visiting ER..?
I have had a sinus infection for a few days so a care now doctor gave me antibiotics, after using it the next day I had have several seizures and was taken to the emergency room (i do not have a history of seizures) My blood pressure was really high when I came in but now it's back down to normal. They did tests and everything seemed fine the only thing they caught was white blood cells in my urine. The ER doctor said it might have been a rare side effect of the antibiotics that gave me the seizures. They gave me an iv to flush it out of my system and detox everything. Everything is okay now, I'm drinking lots of water but now I'm experiencing really bad stomach pains, could these be connected? or should i not be worried? I have just never had a seizure before and I do not know what to expect.

Answers:

You should read up on antibiotics, it's basically kills your immune system and good bacteria in your system that protects your body. It's not good for you and should only be used as a last resort but it's freely given out these days.

After u take antibiotics, for the next month u should be eating very well to rebuild your immune system which has been killed due to antibiotics otherwise your open to getting sick easy again.

It's a drug where drugs effect every person differently. I wouldn't worry about the stomach pains unless they start t oget worst.

Like me, you may be allergic to penicillin. This is often found in antibiotics like "Amoxicillin", which feels like a rock in my stomach, causing pain.
Once aware of it (if that is your case), your doctor will prescribe substitute antibiotics. I am not sure whether or not the seizures were a side effect of this.

They could be anything, and are quite possibly from a combination of the antibiotics and worrying. You really need to ask a physician, though.

Seizures are quite scary, I had 3 after my open heart surgery when I was 12.I would call your doctor tomorrow and ask for an appointment, just to be on the safe side.
