Spots of blood when I blow my nose.?!

Question: Spots of blood when I blow my nose.?
So twice today Ive had a few spots of blood in my mucus when I blew my nose. So I looked at my nose in the mirror, and on the inside, the wall towards the middle of my nose is really read in each nostril. Is there anything I can do from preventing it from bleeding anymore?

Minor blotches in mucus are common in dry conditions (ie winter). Use a little nasal spray or something throughout the day if it really bothers you.

If the blood is more pronounced have someone take a look at it. You don't want damaged skin in your nose becoming infected or something.

Inner lining of the nose lining the sinuses is lined with mucous membrane which contain a lot of capillaries. When you get a rhinitis (cold) and blow the nose strongly some of the capillaries in the inflammed lining membrane will rupture and cause mild bleeding which comes out of the secretion. Do not blow the nose very heavily but do it gently or you can use a nasal aspirator. In addition you can take vitamin c 500 mg once a day after food and use a local nasal decongestant like Nascivion or Otrivin. It it is a sever allergic rhinitis you can use 'Efcorlin Nasal Drops'.
