Answers:

You can't base a medical diagnosis off of one thing. The following is a list of symptoms of OCD.

* Fear of being contaminated by shaking hands or by touching objects others have touched
* Doubts that you've locked the door or turned off the stove
* Thoughts that you've hurt someone in a traffic accident
* Intense stress when objects aren't orderly or facing the right way
* Images of hurting your child
* Impulses to shout obscenities in inappropriate situations
* Avoidance of situations that can trigger obsessions, such as shaking hands
* Replaying pornographic images in your mind
* Dermatitis because of frequent hand washing
* Skin lesions because of picking at your skin
* Hair loss or bald spots because of hair pulling

Repetitive thoughts and actions can also be a sign of OCD, however most people with the condition will have more than one symptom. This can only truly be diagnosed and treated by a medical professional. If you are diagnosed with OCD, there are medicines and treatments that can help. I wouldn't worry too much about it at this time. It could just be that you like things being organized and in its correct place. If you have other symptoms however, I would make an appointment with your doctor to be sure.

I have OCD

I would say that doesn't sound anything like OCD. The need for change isn't characteristic of OCD patients, they tend to want things to be a certain way all the time. I used to see a girl who had OCD, she had to have a certain number of ice cubes in her water, had to do things a certain number of times, etc.

I have never been diagnosed but feel I might have light symptoms of it myself, I have certain habits physical habits I cannot control, however it doesnt' cause me much distress and as far as I can tell no one ever notices.

If you abbreviate obsessive compulsive disorder CDO so that the letters are in the right order, then you probably have it.
