What happens when you're constipated?!

Question: What happens when you're constipated?
I haven't pooped for about a week now. It really doesn't bother me. I don't have horrible stomach cramps. Whenever I try to use the bathroom, It feels normal but I still can't poop as much as I try. My mother gave me some medicine that helps constipation but it really doesn't work well. I can fart, so does that mean its getting better? What will happen?

You can try taking any over the counter medicine to help for a laxative. Magnesium Citrate will work and work FAST. Magnesium citrate tastes like mountain dew or 7up citrus fizzy soda; but you will need to be right next to the toilet within an hour or two after taking that carbonated laxative.

you can get pain if your constipated is prolonged, and a week is a long time not to go, so i would go see a doctor just in case and they can give you something that will help

After a week I would definitely take an enema ASAP
And then see a doctor about it - even if you're not in any pain, think of the autointoxication.
