Vomiting and Diarrhea the morning after Silenor?!

I got prescribed Silenor yesterday, and took the samples that night. I felt groggy when I got up, but I got a better night's sleep. I got up to eat, and several minutes later, started to feel nauseous, but just chalked it up to it being a new med. Next thing I know I was on the toilet, throwing up what I just ate (hadn't even been digested at all yet) and having pretty violent diarrhea. I thought I was going to have to call an ambulance because I was in so much pain.

Is this normal with Silenor? It really doesn't seem normal with anything. Could I be allergic or something?
