How can I treat depression without having to tell my parents (ew) or anyone?!

Question: How can I treat depression without having to tell my parents (ew) or anyone?
I've been feeling really anxious and unable to focus on anything lately. I know everyone feels like that but I'm not so good with dealing with it.

Medications are the face of treating depression but there are better ways - talk to someone. If you keep it inside, you will only have one point of view. Your point of view is the one that is causing you anxious feelings so it best to tell people. I didn't talk to anyone for 5 years and drove myself to the point of crying every single night and during the day. That doesn't happen to everyone but I will tell you what I learned after those 5 years.... just talk to people. School counselor, friends, church people if you have them, someone in the community you know, neighbor - anybody.

One thing to do in the mean time till you are comfortable talking to people, write down all your thoughts every night or even every time you feel anxious or angry. Write them down and then look them over later when you have clear head to go over things.

Try changing your diet by eating healthy, exercising, and taking vitamins this may help with your depression but if it doesn't you might have to tell your folks and see a doctor.

but it sounds like you have an anxiety disorder not depression...

from experience depression is a disease that is hard to battle on your own and you offten need help. i would say tell someone even a parent
