How long do psychiactric drugs stay in your system after being on them for 22 ye!

Question: How long do psychiactric drugs stay in your system after being on them for 22 years? Needing answers plz....?
Ive been on psych drugs since I was 11, and now am 34, and am currently going off of my last psych drug. I was diagnosed with Tourettes at age 11 and Bipolar at age 15 and was on heavy psych drugs to treat both disorders, but no longer need the drugs because God has delivered and healed me of both illnesses back in April of 2010. I went through a bad withdrawal back in june/july of 2010 from going off of three meds I was on then, and now Im going thru a much worse withdrawal now from going off my last med. And all of the meds were done by slow tapering. Anyway Im wondering if someone can tell me how long the risidual effects can last(meaning the side-effects from going off the drugs or the side effects of the drugs in general, because like I mentioned,m Ive been on just about every psych med out there since the age of 11.) Ive tried to research this online, but have gotten no help, and my neurologist doesnt seem to know much either. So anyone who knows or has any experience with this at all, their help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!

It can vary depending on the drug, its dose, how many times per day you had been taking it, and how recently you took the last dose. I would think even the most powerful of psychiatric medications should clear out of your system (including withdrawal symptoms and side-effects) 72 hours - 3 days - after the last time you took it. Again, I'm unaware of exactly what you were on, or what the dose was, so this is just a rough estimate based on withdrawals I've had from prescriptions I used to take. Good luck to you. I know withdrawals from prescriptions can be hell!
