Okay , so I was perfectly fine last night, but when I woke up I turned my head to the right, heard a ripping noise and then my neck started to hurt like hell, so badly I was crying and could barely move, but I managed to tell my mom that my neck was hurting. Okay so then I got to the doctor, the doc said I had wry neck , my mom is giving me all of this stuff but my neck still really hurts, like my head feels heavy.
So I have two questions. Is this temporary? And how long do I have to stay home from school?

Pretty much a symptomatic thing. If it hurts too badly, well how do how do you operate? This too shall pass as we have all gone through it. You might check with a trusted chiropractor. What you are experiencing is inflammation and it goes on until it is rested enough to heal. Try a neck collar which you can get from a med supply store. Hurts but is not permanent.
