Drug tolerance problems(marijuana)?!

Question: Drug tolerance problems(marijuana)?
I've smoked marijuana for a year. Daily for first six months, 2-5 times a week the last six months. Normally when people smoke they feel much happier. But when I smoke now I literally don't feel change in my emotions at all. I feel slightly different, like I can tell I've smoked, but it doesn't make me feel 'good' anymore. Even after taking a 2 week break then smoking again, it doesn't make a difference. I have friends that have smoked for years, and when I tell them this, they have no idea what I'm talking about. Nobody I know has a tolerance this high, and I really haven't even been smoking that long.
Does anybody know why this might be?
The only thing that I can think of that is related, is that I've suffered with depression for quite a few years now, and maybe somehow that makes my brain chemistry different in the way I react to marijuana somehow.

Answers:

try a different strain, you might just be used to the weed that you get so you don't notice the high that much. i've been through that where the high only seems to last a couple minutes and then that's it. changing it up usually gets rid of the issue. you've just developed a tolerance to the weed you always smoke, trust me. also waiting 2 weeks isn't going to do it, because weed stays in your system for about 30 days depending on your weight and how much you smoke.

edit: i have no idea what the problem is then, changing the strain always works for me...and i've smoked longer than you ( and more often). i can't see why depression would affect it.

been there.
