Why do I have constipation while increasing fiber intake?!

Question: Why do I have constipation while increasing fiber intake?
A couple of weeks ago, I switched my diet to 70-80% raw green juce and vegetable consumption, leaving 20% for everything else (including meat products). I significantly increased my fiber intake as you can see. However, for the last week I have been struggling with constipation. I have not been able to use bathroom for the last 4 days.
It goes against all odds about fiber and vegetables qualities.
Any answers?

A key ingredient in making it all work is also increasing the fluid intake, otherwise the fiber can make the stool too firm. That in turn makes the stool difficult to pass.

I use a product called Natural Ovens Flax with 1-6 of Omega -3 in a rounded table spoon (10 grams)complete found in natural food stores in my area. Most stores carry a form of Flax in Boxes which are full of fiber ,with more or less Omega-3. I do not know the supplement facts for other forms of flax. This works for me very well. One box lasts a long time. Do not have the problems you are talking about. If you try this method, use one tablespoon ,2 glasses of water. It 2 hours try again if it has not worked. Your body may still be adjusting if this is a drastic change in diet from fast food. I will be 71 years in 2 months. Things work for me. Other forms of flax my not work as fast. I also walk at least 3 miles a day. This helps my body to work good. Yesterday my wife and I ate at a very good Italian restaurant. The food was tops.Fresh pressed olive oil,a Big bowl of mussels, some call them clams.,a beautiful salad,Lots of great Italian bread with fresh olive oil.great Italian chocolate Hazelnut dessert served with the Top of Espresso froth. One Hour later I was extremely fortunate to be close to a Bathroom.

That kind and quantity of raw fiber binds together and makes things difficult to move along. I'd suggest increase your water intake and don't skip the all natural yogurt.

you been keeping your self hydrated? if yes go to the doc that does sound odd.
