Take a 1 to 2 quart warm water enema. Add a teaspoon of salt per quart of water. Hang the bag so that the bottom of the bag is 12 to 18" above the anus when you insert the nozzle. Take it slowly and try to retain for as long as possible. Repeat if necessary. Or go back to the hospital and tell them it didn't work. They may need to manually dis-impact you. Personally I'd do the enema first.
If they were strong stimulant laxatives (bisacodyl maybe) that would explain the pain - but you should see a doctor if it's persisted for days.
When you're constipated it's safer to use enemas (as Pog said)
