I have been having thus pressure like feeling (like a balled up sock) under my lower right rib for an entire year. It has not moved or gone anywhere. It's pretty annoying
I have absolutely no pain though. Bowel movements do not improve anything.
What could this be? Possibly?

1) the bottom of your right lung
2) the top of your liver
3) your gall bladder
Have you seen your doctor? Things like tumors and cysts don't necessarily hurt.
Have a look at the picture, and see your doctor. Generally a sonogram will tell you more about what is sitting there.
