Question: STOMACH Flu but NO vomiting ?

My sister has had the stomach flu yesterday , and she was vomiting . But today i think i have the same thing , with stomach ache . but i have not vomited today .just DIARRHEA all day , is it possible to have a stomach flu but just with no vomiting ?
