Question: How do I get a prescription in America for a drug not approved in Canada?
My DR thinks its a good idea for me to try this drug.

Not to be a smart ##$, but have your doc send you to another doc "down South" for the Rx. Unfortunately, your health plan probably won't cover the visit.
Also, Canada MIGHT have a way to get unapproved drugs in urgent situations.
