I was wondering if this was true?!

Question: I was wondering if this was true?
I have a bladder infection, and it obviously causes me to use the bathroom a lot. I have been out of school with other health problems so I did not want to miss anymore school. I gave a doctor's note to my teachers (embarrassing) and so far they've let me use the restroom whenever I ask. But there is one teacher who is very stubborn and strict and I have a feeling may not let me go if I need to. I don't want it to spread to my kidneys or something but I'd really prefer not to make a scene and just get up and walk out of class. I heard somewhere that teachers are legally obligated to allow you to use the restroom when you have a doctor's note. Is that true? (sorry if this is in the wrong section, didn't really know where to put it) Thanks!

The way to solve this problem is from the top down. Have your school nurse inform the teacher of your need to use the restroom during the class. Or, the principal can make sure that your teachers allow what you need to do for medical reasons. There is no need for you to explain anything to the teacher yourself, nor does anyone need to know details of "why." Your health information is fully protected by privacy laws. Good luck.

Talk to your principle and school nurse and see if they'll speak to this teacher.
