How do I know if I have allergies?!

Question: How do I know if I have allergies?
Well, I've had sinusitis-like symptoms (excessive sneezing and post-nasal drip mostly) for roughly 3 months.

According to Wikipedia, a chronic sinusitis can last 3+ months.

My problem is, I don't know what is causing it.

How do I know if it is due to allergies, infection, nasal polyps, or something else?

go to an allergy dr and have an allergy test done... i've had it done its not bad

If you go to your local doctor's office
you can ask for an allergy test. I had one.
Basically what they do is they lay you down
on your back, you take your shirt off, And
they start pricking your back. It doesnt hurt.
They inject tiny bits of the allergens (ie. they
test if you are allergic to pollen, horses, trees,
etc.) into your back. If it swells up a little, that
means your allergic to it! cool huh.

Experience.
