Blood in urine is a common occurrence for women due to urinary tract infections because their urethras are much shorter than men's. However, blood in a male's urine can be a serious problem. Please get it checked out by a doctor. It may be cancer.

I just got over a UTI.

Might be kidney stones, tho thats unusual for young people. Kidney stones are very rough and sharp and can cause bleeding when passed. If this is the only time, don't bother, but if you get sharp pains and reoccurrence of bleeding, get checked out by a urologist.
