I have a pain in my right lower abdomen MD/nurse help?!

Question: I have a pain in my right lower abdomen MD/nurse help?
I woke up with an intense pain in my right lower abdomen and then felt this hot/tingly sensation throughout my upper body and through my fingers, I tried calling the ER but the advice nurse was on the other line and told me it would be 20 minutes, I also just got over the flu (swine) and have been coughing a lot which also makes it hurt. On top of that I have an IUD and hopefully it didn't puncture my uterine wall. I'm just freaking out, I have class tomorrow and a very sick two year old and, well, I'm too busy to be sick! Ha. Someone please help?

You really need to go to the doctor.
Just based on the information it could be a few things.
Just guessing, the fact that you have been coughing a lot could have made it sore there and even possibly a hernia.

The worst case scenario because its on the lower right side could be a appendicitis!
I hope this isn't your case.
I really would seek a good medical doctors advice. If you were to become deathly ill, you wouldn't be able to tend to your child anyway so, its best to get things ruled out.
An emergency room is a joke because they will only refer you to see a doctor.
