In the UK, you can get medicinal opiates, but what form does it come in?!


Question: In the UK, you can get medicinal opiates, but what form does it come in?
Like does the doctor (probably an Afghan opium addict anyway) prescribe the opium, and you go to your chemist and the woman will hand you that trusty blackish drug? I was wondering, because it's not so well known to many people.

I think Tramadol is a synthetic opiate. I have some for my knee pain and it makes me very distant and a bit detached from everything each time I take them. The doc gave me them like smarties, I have about 100 left
