its not itchy. its numbness.
Your liver is having a hard time doing its job, which is getting rid of impurities, and it's coming out in your skin. The liver considers all drugs to be impurities, and some are less tolerable to it than others.
The liver is the largest internal organ and the skin is the largest organ of the body. They're both huge protectors of you.
It's even possible that in a month or a year, or in the past, the very same drug may not have the same impact on you. It all depends on what you're eating, or drinking (ingesting ) at that particular time, and what your body needs to deal with.
Narcotics can have itching as a side effect. A lot of people itch when they have anesthesia, pain pumps, etc. An allergy can cause itching--just watch for rash, trouble breathing, feeling like your tongue or throat is swelling up. Go to an ER if these start happening.
its just a side effect of the drug
