Why does my chest hurt when I breathe in?!
Question: Why does my chest hurt when I breathe in?
Since yesterday, my chest has been hurting every time I breathe in. I do have asthma and my asthma was playing up a bit yesterday which is unusual because it has not been like that for a while. I have taken my inhaler but my chest still hurts. Sometimes it only hurts when I breathe in deep and sometimes it only hurts when I breathe normally. The pain yesterday did come and go but it is constant today. I am not coughing or anything like that. What should I do?

If the pain is really sharp, this can be a problem with your back. A chiropractor can snap it out easily. Lots of back problems are caused by lousy breathing with asthma and coughing - either the joints get sort of "stuck" and/or you get muscle spasm.
If the pain is around the sides of your lungs, might still be your back - but it might be a Pleurisy.
