Is it normal not to breath as much through your nose?!

Question: Is it normal not to breath as much through your nose?
The amount of air I get through my nose is nowhere near what I can get in a mouth breath. If I force myself to breath through my nose for a period of time, I eventually have to take a mouth breath to get the air I need (otherwise, I get an unrefreshed feeling).
Also, I do blow my nose several times a day year-round. What's the norm?
What are the consequences of poor air circulation through the nose?

Answers:

The nose serves to filter and warm the air we inhale.
For you to need mouth breathing at intervals could mean the lining of your nose is congested. Try taking an antihistamine, it fries up secretions. Ask your pharmacist for advice, some antihistamines cause people to feel sleepy.

Noses tend to 'run' in cold weather or when we have a cold. In between they don't give much trouble, your need to blow all year round means congestion somewhere - nose or sinuses.

When we breathe through our nose, there are advantages that we don't get when we breathe through our mouth. The nose has ancillary hairs that catch airborne particles that we don't want to reach our lungs."

that's perfectly normal, your nose nostrils are small of course they are not going to get as much oxygen to your lungs as your mouth, so don't try to hurt yourself by only breathing through the nose! if you are blowing your nose out of habit, not because you actually have to, that's gotta stop, it could damage your nose, but if you do have to blow it that much year round, i would suggest seeing the doctor, you could have an issue with excess mucus.

It is normal. Just like some people are left handed or right handed. Some people are mouth breathers and some people ar nose breather. You get more oxygen breathing through your mouth.
