Chronic Dehydration ...?!

Question: Chronic Dehydration ...?
Back in high school, I had a habit of going the whole day without eating, and not eating until I got back from school in the afternoon. This was mostly because I am NOT a morning person, and I don't really even have an appetite until the afternoon.

The problem is, because I never ate anything until mid-afternoon, I also did not feel very THIRSTY either. So I got into a habit of not really drinking anything either until mid-afternoon (unless I happened to have P.E. that day).

My concern is, could this type of chronic dehydration have damaged my body in any way? The thing is, I never really felt thirsty (otherwise I would have brought a water bottle to class), so it never bothered me. But I've read that your body is dehydrated long before you actually FEEL thirsty?

So back in high school, I would drink after dinner at around 6:30pm, and then not drink or eat anything again until 3:30pm the NEXT day. It may seem weird, but I honestly did not feel hungry or thirsty during the day (I'm barely even awake in the mornings, I've always hated waking up early). I would eat a snack after I got home, drink a lot, and then eat a big dinner in the evening a few hours later (and drink some more water)

I only did this during the school week (not during weekends or in the summer) in high school, but still ... I'm concerned that the chronic dehydration, even though I never felt thirsty, could have resulted in complications?

Answers:

no im sure no damage has been done, but its always good to drink alot of water, its the best thing on the whole planet for you

Are you suffering from any complications? No? Then you're fine.
