Medical synthetic heroine? Is this a real thing used for people with morphine in!
Question: Medical synthetic heroine? Is this a real thing used for people with morphine intolerance?
Is this a real thing? What's it called?
I've been swinging around an idea for a comic book, and I strive for realism. If I was still in touch with her, I would ask, but it's been 5 or so years since I last saw her.
If there isn't, is there a medication that people use in place of heroine? Or is it just heroine all the way?
Answers:
Methadone is a synthetic opioid. I'm sure the girl in your school said heroin to sound cool... But it is an analgesic.
If by "use in place of" you mean abuse. People generally don't abuse Methadone. It's used to wean them off of opioid drugs. But yes, some people do abuse it...
you should do some research for your self though.
That would be methadone. And since you're a writer of sorts, you might want to learn the difference between "heroine" and "heroin".
Methadone is the medication people are put on as an alternative to heroine to get them off it
