What kind of sickness do I have?!

Question: What kind of sickness do I have?
So, I`ve always had some problems with my throat. Well not always but since school began last year I`d get a really sore throat every once and a while and now its really bad. My throat is driving me crazy it hurts so bad and I`ve tried those little candy things or whatever that your suppose to use for a sore throat. I`ve been sneezing which hurts my throat bad and not as much coughing today but last night I was like coughing every 5 seconds til I took some medicine. Do I have strep throat or tonsillitis? Or something else? Thanks!

Answers:

Sounds like strep! I had recurrent strep like that for like 2 years till they finally took my tonsils out. You need to get a doctor to document all of your symptoms and how long it's been going on so if you do need surgery your insurance won't question it.

Hello, the first thing I want to know is: how old are you and how long have you been like this? what is your diet and what is your life style?
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we say' Fire comes out of your body in a certain way". You may feel very stressful before school starts which causes your body functionally disorder, or you ate a lot of hot or spicy or oilly food when you feel stressful or just before school starts, which causes your body disorder functionally.
There some ways to solve this: 1). Before school starts, eat light meal, more veges and fruits, relax yourself as much as you can; 2). Go to see a Chinese Medicine doctor and get the treatment.
Good luck and take care.

are you a smoker? it is most likely either strep throat or sinus drainage. if you look in a mirror and your tonsils appear to be inflamed then it is most likely tonsillitis. either way, i'd recommend going to a doctor, what you can do in the mean time is drink a small amount of lemon juice and gargle it a little bit which should help more than the cough drops, good luck

go to the doctor
