when i take med it make my sickness worse for some reason.

Take a multivitamin daily (at least until you get healthy again)
Eat healthy, get plenty of rest when you get home, and dress warmly if it's cold outside so you don't get any sicker

If you have a cough and is really bad, take cough syrup containing codeine and dextramethorphan , also if there is lot of sputum / expectoration , also take anti biotic, commonly prescribed is augmentin (combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid )625 mg twice daily for 5 days . Only thing to remember that this drug causes diarrhoea / loose motion in some cases, so it is better to take it along with drugs as'' econorm sachets'' which prevent loose motions.
Take cough drops or hard candy to suck on in class.
