What's wrong with me?!

Question: What's wrong with me?
Recently I've been noticing that when I read things, it's a different word or number..like I was reading the word geek, but my mind added an r and made geek into greek and I read it as Greek until I read it again and noticed what I was doing wrong.

Then one time I was shopping and I read a sign that said $3.00 but it actually said $33.00. I didn't notice that until my friend told me. I keep doing this in class now and I just think there's something wrong, but I don't know what..this just happens when I'm reading or looking at stuff.

It's not my vision either. I'm sure of it.

What's wrong? Do I need to go see someone?

Thanks :)

If this has just happened recently, it may just be that you're not paying close enough attention and need to take it slow. However if you've noticed this on and off for a while you may have an undiagnosed condition like dyslexia. That's not to scare you, but the more you know, the easier it is to make changes and get better. It wouldn't hurt to see a doctor, even if it turns out to be nothing.

Try think that nothing is wrong with you and you may be able to trick your mind into thinking the same thing. When your reading, just don't think anything and read like you would normally.
It may be that you are over tired or it could be your vision and you may need glasses to help with this problem... I wear glasses full time and it has helped a lot.

My suggestion to you is, go to an eye doctor and get an eye test and let them decide if you need glasses or not..

All the best and good luck..

dont be in a hurry while seeing objects or while reading............jus be calm and read.....it might work
