i have an important female question?!

Question: I have an important female question?
i have a very strong vaginal odor when im on my period. it is very embarassing and people comment on it behind my back all the time, even when im sitting in class. i use pads. do you think that starting to use tampons would make the odor go away? if you have any links that could demonstrate how to properly put in a tampon that would be great.

thank you for your help. my self esteem is going down the toilet. :/

Answers:

Use tampons. Or change the pads every hour. When you buy a box of tampons it comes with a pamphlet on how to use them

the last person you probably want an answer from is a male, but I have some advice for you (and don't worry I'm gay)

I'm a medical assistant and I work for a female doctor. We have patients all the time with this problem, and it could be as simple as when do you douche? how heavy are your periods? how long do they last? change your pads frequently, and go get checked out by your Gynecologist or your Family Doctor because if its persistent it could be more serious of an issue. Make sure you have yearly pap smears also, Paps help diagnose major serious issues. My doctor also prescribes Rx cream like Clindamycin for certain lady troubles.

Make sure you are washing down there EVERY single day! The most important thing my mom has taught me in the past :)

Well, one of them.

you might need to change your pad more often if you don't... but buy deoderant pads and tapons
