if you were a pharmacist would you feel wrong if you gave a 14-17yr old birth co!

Question: If you were a pharmacist would you feel wrong if you gave a 14-17yr old birth control?
Answers:

No, because I would be doing my job.. At least she would want to be careful about not getting pregnant and thinking about her options and me helping her is why I would be okay with it. I would rather be a pharmacist and give her birth control than be a doctor that delivers her baby.

Birth control pills have many many uses, other than birth control. If I was a pharmacist I definitely would not feel bad giving that to a 14-17 yrs old. As its not not up to me to decide what they should be doing. Its up to their parents to decide. doctor is issuing an order, I should be doing my job and give the pills. On the other hand If I don't I will feel bad that out of Patient, Parent, doctor, I am the only one who is limiting patients access to pills.

But that is just me. don't know what pharmacists do.

Birth control is used for many other reasons than contraception. It is used to regulate periods, to help with PMS and to help mild to moderate acne. It's the doctors decision to prescribe the birth control.

I am a pharmacy technician

No. There are way too many unwanted or unplanned teen pregnancies. It is not the Pharmacist place to pass judgment on someone and their personal decision for their family.

yes because your not meant to be having sex if your under 17. your body is just not ready yet.and neither are you emotionally
