What will the doctor reccommend?!

Question: What will the doctor reccommend?
I'm a 15 year old female, normal body weight, normal blood pressure, regular exercise, and don't smoke/drink alcohol.

For a year and a half now, I can't control vomitting after everything I eat, no matter what it is. Food regurgitates back up my esophagus, and I belch every 5 minutes until the food is digested. It's really irritating and disgusting. It doesn't hurt, and I'm never in pain. I don't have heartburn. Although I'm not in pain, I know this is a problem. The doctor though I had acid reflux and gave me Aciphex, which didn't work at all. He then gave me Reglan. Reglan made me have regular bowel movements, and now my food doesn't regurgitate AS MUCH, but I still belch. I don't vomit anymore because of Reglan. The belching won't stop no matter what changes I make to my diet. I feel like even if I take medicine, I will burp that up too. I am scheduled for an endoscopy tomorrow. Should I go ahead and do the endoscopy, or ask for more medicine?

thanks in advance

Answers:

Your stomach isn't emptying properly, which causes the problem. The Reglan encourages your stomach to empty, but the doctor needs to see what is blocking your stomach from emptying, and the endoscopy is the way to do that.

You should be screened for pica. Are you eating any non-food objects? Hair or plastic or foam? If you are, tell your doctor.
