There's a party tomorrow but I have a cold..?!

Question: There's a party tomorrow but I have a cold..?
There's a party tomorrow night that my friend is hosting, and I really want to go! There's going to be drinking, smoking, etc. But I don't really do either of those, so that's not important. I want to socialize!
BUT. I've been ill all week with a cold. I've had phlegm in my nose and throat. I need to wipe and blow my nose every 10-15 minutes, so now it's very red and raw. My voice is a little hoarse.
How can I fix this as soon as possible? Thanks :)

Answers:

Drink plenty of fluids, I recommend juice and tea with honey and lemon for your throat. Take an antihistamine or use a neti pot to clear your nose. Blow your nose gently with soft tissue to keep it from getting more red. Go for a short walk outside today to get some of your energy back. Then get a good night sleep tonight and you should feel good enough to enjoy yourself at the party tomorrow. Stay aware from the smoke or you will be sorry the next day...

Don't forget to bring a tissue and cough drop with you:)

Take some dayquill an hour before the party and take some now. Dress warm for the party and of course now! You should be fine to go to the party. Unless you have a fever I think you should go and enjoy yourself. Just get as much rest as you can now before you go to the party so that you may feel alot better when tommorow comes around. Take a hot bath to clear up your nose. Also drink plenty of fluids and eat.

- Dress warm now/ tonight!
- drink soup
- drink tea (always helps!)
- and if your voice is a little hoarse, then it helps if you drink a little bit of vegetable oil, it always works for me and my family.

you'll feel better by tomorrow if you do those things, works everytime for me!

give it a try! Dont let your cold make you not want to go!
