The other answer is right about maintaining hydration, and only using it in moderation..

But MDMA - magnificent as it is - is extremely damaging to the sensitive, delicate neuronal balance in your brain. The neurotransmitter it affects primarily - Serotonin - is incredibly important. While it may not cause you any literal physical discomfort, an imbalance of Serotonin can and likely will lead to mood disorders, body temperature regulation problems, perception of reality distortions, and many, many other negative side-effects.

You see, to put it simply - it opens the floodgates of a precious molecule in your brain, and so the feeling is amazing - because you're getting a lot of something good, all at once. Your brain will never recover from even the first time, because many Serotonin receptors are destroyed in the process of "rolling".

Most people won't notice much, if any, of a difference in themselves after the first time. I, however, REALLY noticed a difference, because of my already self-aware personality. I did not allow myself to do it more than 3 times total, because I could feel the change happening, every time.

Be careful, and if you do it - drink lots of water, remember that it makes you feel incredibly good, so pay attention to what your body is telling you, because you may not even notice you're sitting on a jagged rusty nail jutting out from a floorboard. Good luck, and remember moderation makes everything better.

Experience.

If done responsibly, not at all. First of all, make sure you stay well hydrated. Pretty much all problems that arise while rolling are a result of dehydration. Don't drink any alcohol with it since that will only contribute to the problem. Stick to things like water and juice. Also, don't make a habit of it. At most once every couple months since when you take MDMA, your serotonin reserves become depleted, you want to give your body time to recover. Taking a multi-vitamin every day can definitely help.

Have fun and be safe.
