Why was I shaking and paralyze while asleep .?!

Question: Why was I shaking and paralyze while asleep .?
My dream was typically about me going downstairs and looking if a ghost was there. After that walk back up the stairs and lay down on my bed.. Then I started to shake and paralyze! I tried to shout my sisters name while paralyze.... Then I woke up and my body is still shaking because I kept hearing vibration but after awhile, there wasn't anyone around me or any device that causes any vibration!! Please help me ! I'm scared, I'm just 13 and really really scared! What type of sickness is that? What causes that? Please be serious please! I don't want this to happen:{

Answers:

It's called sleep paralysis, and it's NOTHING to worry about. It can happen to anyone from time to time. It has happened to me before.

It takes a while for your body to wake up, even though your mind might already be awake. Next time, if you relax your body instead of trying to fight it, it will stop faster.

This is common, do not worry, no doctors or chiropractors are needed.
You just "woke up" too fast. it takes atleast 2-3 seconds for the body to re-mobilize your body after a deep deep sleep.

good luck

It was a Nightmare, a really bad nightmare.

You were having an lucid dream, this is basically where you have such a basic dream that your brain realizes that your dreaming and it panics in your dream. In your dream you would have realized that your dreaming and felt panicked and tried to call out for help, you would have managed to waken yourself. Because of the panic you were in, once you awaken you can often shake as the body enters goes into shock. The more realistic the dream, the more stressed you are in reality.

You see when we are asleep we rehearse situations these are often at a bizarre level to resemble things in every day life. For example one may become close with a sister, so your brain will alter the characters and change what your rehearsing so instead of 'being close with sister' your brain may change it to 'dancing with kesha' to rehearse what you would do in these situations. The more stressed out you are the more the brain thinks it needs to practice what to do in more basic situations.Which effectively produce lucid dreaming. Our brain will repeat different scenarios a night but will only remember afew. If you ever wake up feeling like you daydreamed all night instead of sleeping it is because you had a whole night of lucid dream, when your in this state the brain doesn't fully switch of it'll alertness so you may be disturbed easier
