Can you take medicine if you're Straight-Edge?!

Yes you can take meds if you are Straight Edge.

What Straight Edge is, is not smoking pot or weed, not doing crack, cocaine, all that gross stuff.
If your having bad pains, then you can do that.

Why are you so adamant about being "straight edge". If it means that much to you, you would think you would be able to define it yourself. It's your decision, so you have to decide how far you take it. I will say, though, that you may need serious medical attention at some point in your life, and at that time, it may not be wise to turn down the drugs that medical science will provide for you. Take the damn pain killer, or tough it out. It's completely and UTTERLY up to you.

Hi, some Straight-Edgers (lol - don't know the name) are against prescription painkillers. But no that's not the case, think - it's different to alcohol and drugs it's actually needed. Most aren't against it. Prescription drugs are fine.

Straight Edge mostly refers to not taking illegal drugs or drinking alcohol

so your fine taking some aspirin for your headaches
