Question: How is it that rubbing Vicks on your feet clears out your sinuses?

They say that the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach, now you you know where your sinuses are and you thought they were in your head!
Because when it comes to babies/small infants...you simply can not take Vick's Vapo Rub,and just apply that to their very sensitive little body's/skin.That will cause extreme skin irritation to the baby/infant.And,that's why pediatrician's recommend that a parent apply the Vick's Vapo Rub to their baby/infants foot/feet,and not directly on their chest/nose.Due to the extreme skin irritation is would cause to the infant/baby.
Common Sense if you were to stop and think about it...And,those vapors simply travel from the infants feet up to the nose.

You rub it on your chest, or temples to inhale the vapours...not on your feet. ;/
Invigorating the feet with hot & cold can help a cold virus by stimulating your circulation..but never heard of Vicks used this way.
